Privacy Policy

Abbalove Church (“we,” “us”) cares about your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep things simple: we collect only what we need, we don’t sell your information, we use no advertising trackers, and we use analytics only if you say yes.

Information we collect

• Prayer requests. When you submit the prayer form, we collect your name, your message, and — only if you choose to provide it — your email address.
• Messages and questions. The contact form collects your name, email, and message. The sermon question form asks only for your question, not your name or email.
• Event registrations. When you register or buy tickets for an event, we collect your name, email, and — if asked — phone number and any details you add for each attendee (for example a child’s name, age, or allergies). We use this only to run the event. Thirty days after the event ends, we remove the names, contact details, and answers from your registration (for an ongoing event with no end date, a year after you register). For paid tickets we keep the amount paid for our records.
• Giving and paid tickets. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered in Stripe-hosted secure fields, including fields embedded on this site, and are never seen or stored by us. Stripe may receive payment, device, browser, IP address, and interaction data to process payments and prevent fraud.
• Your giving record. When you give, we keep your name and email, your phone number and mailing address if you give them to us, and a record of each gift: amount, date, fund, whether it is monthly, whether you asked to give anonymously, and its receipt number. If you gave through our previous website, that giving history was carried over so your receipts and year-end statements stay complete.
• Giving dashboard. You can see your gifts, download receipts, update your details, and manage monthly gifts at Manage your giving. To sign in, we email you a link that works once and expires in 20 minutes. Changes to a saved card or monthly gift are made through Stripe’s secure customer portal.
• Staff accounts. Church staff who manage the site have login accounts (name and email) in our content system.
• Basic server logs. Like most websites, our host records standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.

How we use it

• To pray for you and, if you gave an email, to respond to your request.
• To reply to messages you send us.
• To process and acknowledge donations. Givers receive a receipt for each gift, a notice when a monthly gift ends, pauses, resumes, or is refunded, and a year-end giving statement each January. If we turn them on, you may also get a reminder before a monthly gift renews.
• To thank you. Staff who care for givers are told when a gift arrives. If you chose to give anonymously, those notices say “Anonymous donor” instead of your name; your details stay on the gift record so we can send your receipt and statement.
• To operate, secure, and improve the website.

Cookies and tracking

We use no advertising or behavioral tracking cookies or pixels. Stripe may set cookies or use similar essential technologies when its secure payment fields load, including for fraud prevention, security, and optional Stripe Link features. When you sign in to your giving dashboard, an essential cookie (abbalove_donor_session) keeps you signed in for up to 12 hours or until you sign out. The private admin area also uses an essential login cookie for staff. These technologies support services you request and are not used by Abbalove Church for advertising.

Analytics, only with your consent. If we turn on analytics, a banner asks on your first visit whether we may use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are helpful. Nothing is loaded or sent to Google unless you choose “Accept analytics.” If you accept, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and receives anonymized usage data; we keep Google’s advertising features turned off. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, which also removes those cookies. Your choice is remembered in your browser.

Who we share information with

We never sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that run the site, and only as needed to provide it to you:

• Stripe — payment processing for giving and event tickets.
• Supabase — secure database hosting for our content and form submissions.
• Cloudflare R2 — image and file hosting.
• Vercel — website hosting.
• Resend — email delivery: receipts, statements, sign-in links, event confirmations, and notifications.
• Google Analytics — anonymized site-usage statistics, only after you accept analytics cookies.

Videos on this site come from YouTube, which loads nothing until you press play and then plays from its privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com player. Our site also links out to YouTube and Instagram. Once you press play or follow those links, the privacy practices of those services apply.

Keeping your information, and your choices

We keep prayer requests and messages only as long as needed for ministry. We keep donation records (gift amounts, dates, and receipts) for as long as tax and accounting rules require, even if you ask us to delete the rest of your information.

You can update your name, email, phone, and mailing address yourself in your giving dashboard. You may ask us to access or delete the information you’ve shared at any time — email us at home@abbalovechurch.com, message us on Instagram @abbalovechurch, or speak with us in person at 12791 Yorba Ave, Chino, CA.

Children

Registrations for children’s events (such as AbbaKids / Platform 14) are made by a parent or guardian through Stripe checkout. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this website.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the date at the top of this page.
