About

OUR

Vision

God is our father, love is our lifestyle.

Imagine a life where God isn’t a distant figure, but a loving Father. An existence not dominated by material desires but characterized by love.

That’s the vision we’re living out at Abbalove Church. We invite you to join us on this transformative journey, where God’s love becomes your lifestyle.

Make disciples in community that serves the city and change the world through church planting.

We are on a mission. A mission to not only make disciples but to form a community that serves, enriches, and uplifts our city. But we won’t stop there.

Our vision expands beyond our city limits, as we aim to change the world through church planting. It’s a bold, audacious mission – one we believe is possible with your partnership.

Our Values

Each of these core values gives us a roadmap to how we, as a community, act and interact. They’re our guiding principles, the heartbeat of our church.

We invite you to join us in living out these values, creating a community that is a beacon of love, service, openness, and faith. Together, we can change lives, starting with our own.

serving is an honor

Serving is an honor, not a burden

Serving is an honor, not a burden: At Abbalove Church, we serve joyfully, knowing that in every act of service, we are expressing our gratitude to God and love for one another.

Openness is the key to healing

Openness is the key to healing: We cultivate an environment where it’s safe to be open about our struggles and victories alike. This transparency brings healing, fosters trust, and builds stronger relationships.

Love is our highest pursuit

Love is our highest pursuit: Above all else, we prioritize love. In every interaction, in every decision, love guides us. As we pursue love, we draw closer to God and to each other.

Our Beliefs

The Bible: Our faith is anchored in the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. We hold these books as divinely inspired and the final authority for life and faith (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21). As a community, we explore and learn from the Scriptures together, as we seek to know God more intimately.

The Trinity: We profess a faith that revolves around a triune God – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, each fully God, yet one (Matthew 28:18-19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Peter 1:1-2). We celebrate the mystery of the Trinity and to experience the unique way each person of the Godhead works in our lives.

The Father: We believe in a personal, sovereign God who rules over His creation, judges according to His holiness, and compassionately reconciles a lost world to Himself (Genesis 1; Exodus 4:22, 34:6-7; Romans 8:14-17; Ephesians 4:6).

The Son: Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, lived among us, fully God and fully man (Isaiah 53:12; Luke 1:31-35; John 1:1-2, 14, 18; Colossians 1:19). In Christ, we see the perfect reflection of God’s love. Through Him, we receive forgiveness, healing, hope and a template of what it means to be human.

The Holy Spirit: We believe in the redemptive work of the Holy Spirit who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, judgment, and empowers us with spiritual gifts (John 16:8; 1 Corinthians 12:7-11,13; Ephesians 4:30, 5:18). As we engage with the Holy Spirit, we become more like Jesus and impact our world for His glory.

Mankind and Sin: We understand that sin has disrupted our relationship with God, but also believe in the redemption and reconciliation made possible through Christ (Genesis 3; Romans 3:23, 5:6-12, 6:23). As we navigate this tension, we encourage each other to live out the redemption we’ve received.

The Work of Jesus: We hold fast to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. His perfect life, atoning death, and victorious resurrection offer hope and salvation to all who believe (Matthew 27, 28; Romans 8:3, 5:12-21; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8; 2 Corinthians 5:21). We celebrate salvation as a gift from God that we receive by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (John 10:27-30; 14:6; Galatians 2:20-21; Ephesians 2:8-10; 1 Peter 1:3-5). As we each embrace this gift, we see lives transformed, relationships healed, and our community strengthened.
